Tussac grass covered island east of Plymouth Island and midway between Chaplin Head and Romerof Head, supports a colony of giant petrels (Macronectes sp.). Named after HMS Brilliant, RN 1981-1996, Type 22 frigate which took part in the retaking of South Georgia in April 1982, following the Argentine invasion. |
