Horseshoe shaped, and most easterly of the Kupriyanov Islands (q.v.), at the entrance to Diaz Cove, South Georgia. Hosts a wide selection of breeding Antarctic sea birds. Named after Jérôme and Sally Poncet who have made outstanding contributions to science, support and knowledge on South Georgia for over 30 years (APC, 2006). |
